What this policy covers
This privacy policy explains how A&K Clarksville Concrete and Masonry handles the information you share with us through this website. We're a masonry contractor based in Clarksville, TN, and this site is where homeowners read about our work and ask us to come out and look at a job.
The policy applies to every page of the site, starting with our home page, and to the contact form, phone calls and emails that start from it. You can read more about who we are on our About page. If you use this site, you're agreeing to the practices described here.
Information you give us
Most of what we know about you is what you choose to tell us. When you fill out our contact form, call us at (931) 272-0045 or email us, you'll usually give us some or all of the following:
Your name, phone number and email address.
The address of the property where the work would be done.
A description of the job, and any photos or details you decide to include.
You don't have to give us any of this to browse the site. We just need enough to reach you and understand the job if you want an estimate.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours may collect some basic information when you visit, through analytics tools and the servers that host the site. This can include your browser and device type, a general location based on your IP address, the pages you viewed, how long you stayed and the site that sent you here.
We use this information in summary form to see which pages people find useful and where the site needs work. We don't use it to figure out who you are.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website saves in your browser so it can remember things between visits. Our site and the tools it relies on may use cookies to keep pages working properly and to count visits for analytics.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. The site should still work if you do, though some features, like a form remembering what you typed, may not.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to answer your question, schedule an estimate, plan and do the work you hire us for, and follow up about that job. We may also use it to keep records for billing, warranty questions and taxes.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't rent or trade it to other companies for their own marketing.
Who we share it with
We share information only when we need to in order to run the business. Our contact form, website hosting and analytics are handled by outside service providers, so your form entries and visit data pass through their systems. Those providers handle the data to provide their service to us.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or if the business is ever sold or transferred to a new owner.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact details and job information for as long as we need them to work with you and to answer questions about a finished job, plus whatever longer period the law requires for business and tax records. If we never end up working together, we delete inquiry details once they're no longer useful to us.
Analytics data is kept in summary form, and the service providers we use set their own retention periods for it.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you the personal information we have about you, correct it or delete it. You can also ask us to stop contacting you at any time. We'll do what you ask unless we have to keep a record for legal or business reasons, and if so we'll tell you why.
Depending on where you live, your state's law may give you more rights over your data. We'll honor those requests too.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, and we limit who on our crew can see it to the people who need it for your job. No website or email system is perfectly secure, though, so please don't send us anything sensitive, like bank or card numbers, through the contact form.
Children's privacy
This site is meant for adults planning work on their homes. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13, and if we learn that we have, we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our website or the way we work changes. The current version will always be on this page, so check back here if you want to see how we handle your information.
Questions or privacy concerns
If you have a question about this policy or want to make a request about your information, reach us through our Contact page or call (931) 272-0045. We answer the phone Mon–Sun, 7 AM–10 PM, and you can expect a reply within 1 business day.
